NAWR Aberystwyth opening event - FFRWD and The Original Eve

Great news everyone. We've got our lottery funding so BIG THANKS to them, Ty Cerdd and the Arts Council of Wales. As a result we'll be running a series of six experimental music & poetry nights on the second Tuesday of each month at the Bank Vault, New Street, Aberystwyth. 

For our opening event in October we welcome ...

 

A duo of multi-instrumentalists Anna Savage (voice, flute, piano, electronics) and Steve Moyes (cello, guitar, xaphoon, electronics), based in West Wales and London. Their current project combines experimental improvisation and live looping technology with Anna’s spoken word/poetry and songs.

Welsh avant-garde performer aka Glyn Roberts fuses power electronics and found sound. Splicing, dicing and heavy processing with 50 years of noise machines, from Korg MS10 and dictaphones, to the latest in modular synthesis. Musique concrète, raw sound creation and improvisation in unique live sets. Acoustic, electronic and freeform sounds evolve to create intense,
atmospheric soundscapes.
